Whether you have made or received one before, you know that breakfast in bed is always a nice gesture, independent of on which end you happen to be at that specific moment, receiving or serving. In theory it's easy to do - make breakfast, find a tray, put the breakfast on the table and deliver the breakfast. However, there are two things to think about here. In the summer time, when the weather is fine The spring has been with us officially for couple of weeks already and we all know what that means - the summer is closing in with terrifying speed. True, mostly we'd like it to arrive already yesterday, but when we start thinking about our summer-shape then making the joke about round being a shape as well, doesn't really cut it. ![]() What do they all have in common? The obvious answer, to us, would be a very expensive breakfast. But not this time. The true answer is that Food Network's Chopped All-Stars is back. It's a show for food lovers, chefs, wannabe chefs and entertainment fans of the most delicious sort. ![]() I couldn't tell you what made my mind wonder back to the time I was visiting Morocco couple of years back, I couldn't because I really have no idea, but the slightest memory brought back quite a few different tastes in my mouth. Most of them good ones. Visiting your parents might ruin your diet It's really great every once in a while to take a drive to your parents place and stay there for couple of days. Just to rest. The more seldom you visit them, the easier it will be for you usually. Simply because your parents are really happy to see you. And that's only a good thing. ![]() When most of us think about breakfast, very seldom do the words fish or seafood come to our minds. Why it's so, I can't really say. Maybe it's just something illogical in our brains. For some reason our culture usually assumes that some kind of sweets are the right foods for breakfast or veggies or..well, basically, anything but fish. Is there really a reason for that? For not eating fish for breakfast I mean? ![]() I love to make breakfast smoothie recipes for weight loss because not only is having a healthy breakfast important for the day, but making it with fresh fruit and greens is an effective and healthy way to get all the vital nutrients you need to start your day and your metabolism! But there are some things you need to take into consideration when making these delicious treats, and that's the quality of the ingredients and the power of the blender you are going to be using. Also keep in mind that the quality of the water or juice you use can greatly affect the taste and health of your smoothie too! You can be killed over a breakfast, true that! I just came across a news story at The Guardian from 22 June 2011. It's titles "Welsh schoolboy 'killed former girlfriend for free breakfast'". After I had read the title, I just knew this is something for mybreakfast.org. If only breakfast could talk...we now know it Can kill. ![]() Care to disagree? Well, you may. But my belief in this sense is valid - this breakfast is good, it's easy to make, it doesn't take more than 5 minutes and it's even quite okay health-wise. ![]() Finding the right breakfast for yourself is difficult. I mean - if you're not used to eating breakfast, it's often rather difficult to make yourself hungry in the morning, to actually want to eat something. Or another version that I have noticed in case of myself - sometimes I'm just too hungry in the morning, which means I end up eating everything but a healthy breakfast. And that's no good either. Reasons For Eating Breakfast 1. Weight. Whether you want to lose some weight or want to make sure you won't gain any extra weight, eating breakfast is important. According to some studies, people who don't eatbreakfast have a metabolic rate that is about 5% below normal which means that you might expect to gain up to 3kg of weight a year just because of that. Healthy breakfast for helping with weight loss If you have decided to lose some weight, having healthy breakfast every morning can be pretty much a must. The only reason why I said CAN BE, is that it's normally so, yet it does depend on the specific person we are talking about as well - all of us are different. Eating healthy breakfast is also important just for the sake of not gaining any unwanted extra weight. ![]() Every time you get a feeling you're the worst in something, someone else comes along, someone who makes you think you're actually pretty good. At least compared to "this" guy. The Food Network's Worst Cooks In America is definitely one of those TV shows that can make you feel pretty good about your skills, at least your cooking skills that is. Season Three of Worst Cooks in America kicks off this Sunday, February 12th at 9pm ET/PT. Be sure to keep an eye on the show, just to learn some great new cooking related tricks yourself as well. Those skills will definitely become handy when you're cooking yourself yet another breakfast. But I do understand its potential importance. And I hope so do you. But if you can barely wake up in time to go to work, how the hell can you find the time to cook yourself breakfast? Well, before I say anything else, the following is just what I do, and it might not be healthy for you at all, or whatever like that. It's just an idea from a breakfast amateur...oh my farting god, that just sounds so...blond? Oh well, you know what I mean, don't hold it against me. Or if you do...ah no, not jokes about that joke. My main rule for making my breakfast is that it shouldn't take more than 10 to 15 minutes and ideally, it wouldn't take any time at all. ![]() Or to start from the beginning, do you eat breakfast, I mean regularly? I've never been much of a breakfast eater until about half a year ago. I decided that even if I don't want to eat any breakfast I would still have some. Even if just a little. The theory is that this way you get your metabolism working right away in the morning and ... well, that's a good thing. And the more frequently you eat, the more certain your body will be that it can actually burn calories because it will be fed soon again, and it doesn't need to keep them for later.
